The Paper Sons will be headlining a show tonight(1/17) in Oakland. We are celebrating the CD release for new friends Collisionville and finally getting a chance to share the stage with our friends Vitamin Party. Also playing is The Touques. Come on out and getting absolutely lost in an amazing night of rock in the East Bay!

 The Paper Sons' "long way home" earned a spot on Mike Cameo's Indie's Top 10.  This time around you'll find The Paper Sons on the pop countdown for September 2008.  Check out Indie's Top 10!

 We are heading back up to Sacramento on Friday October 10th.  Headlining the show is Portland's own, Floater, who are out on a West Coast tour of their own.  Also sharing the bill is Slow Children on tour out of Las Vegas, NV.  We all converge on Sacto for one night of debauchery at Marilyn's on K St..  Tell all of your Sacramento friends, hell, you should even make the trip up with us if you are living by the Bay.

The *On Tour* tour is winding down.  Tonight we are in Portland playing Mt. Tabor Legacy with Hum the Drone and Exuviate.  Our show for Eugene has been moved to Thursday night this week.  It's been a pretty rough summer on touring bands apparently and some venues are canceling live music nights in the middle of the week.  The date swap worked out perfectly for us since our Redding, CA date was cancelled for similar reasons!  

Our final stop on the tour will be Nick's Night Club in Chico with Kevin D'Ambra and Random Tuesday.  See you soon!

It's been an action packed few days on the road.  Over the next day or so we are going to throw up a new part of the website where Phil will have a blog complete with photos and his take on the tour.  

Tonight we are rocking Sacramento.  Tell all of  your Sacto friends to head out to Marilyn's on K street.  We are hosting games night and will be the only band playing.  In between sets we'll be making asses of ourselves playing rockband, guitar hero and the like.   Good times.  See you soon.
