The Paper Sons performed this past Saturday June 21st at Livermore's Relay for Life.  This year's fundraiser has made over $200K and counting.  Congratulations to all of the organizers, performers and participants on another job well done.  If you are interested in making a contribution to the American Cancer Society, just click the icon below.

The Paper Sons, The Bruises and
Th' Moonlight Sexy live @ Café du Nord.  6/15/08


The folks over at imeem are helping us spread the word about this great Father's Day show coming up next Sunday June 15th.  We are honored to be sharing the stage with The Bruises, long one of our favorite bands.  The Bruises are a must see for any fan of the Paper Sons!  Th' Moonlight Sexy will be sharing their infectious brand of rock laced with motown - I can't do their sound any justice with my words, you simply have to check them out!  Be sure to get to du Nord early as this show starts at 7:30pm.

For the first time in over a year, your Paper Sons will be making a road trip down to San Jose Friday night, May 30th.  We will be playing with Manchester School, voted best local band in the metro for 2007.  Also playing is Fremont's 4 piece blues/rockers Sick Blue.   It's going to be a great night at Johnny V's.  Hope to see you there!

Friday 5/09 @ Red Devil Lounge was a blast!  Thanks to all of you for coming out and supporting the Paper Sons and a very worthy cause in breast cancer research.  The Ant ShOw, all the bands, and designers involved made the boxer rebellion an event to remember. It was great to see old friends and make some new ones too. 

For those who couldn't make it, fear not! You can get your Paper fix at The Hotel Utah on Friday 5/23.  We'll finally get a chance to play our favorite new song for you all.  We had to skip it at Red Devil to keep on schedule. 

Rough mixes of the tracks "letters" and "underground" can be previewed on our myspace page.  These songs are from our upcoming digital release EP which will be available for download in June.  Eventually these 5 tracks will anchor our first full length release slated for late in '08.

The Paper Sons are thrilled to be a part of The Ant Show's 4th annual boxer rebellion fashion show on Friday May 9th at Red Devil Lounge.  This unique event brings artists, designers and musicians together for a fun evening of collaboration and community building.  Come on out and see guys and gals in undies! This event is sure to be well attended so purchase your tickets online through ticketweb - tickets are $7 in advance, $10 @ the show.
